How an engagement works
From a first conversation to a steady delivery rhythm. We start small, document the workflow, and route every piece of work through review before it reaches you. Your firm keeps the final review throughout.
Two things worth understanding before you start.
First, how an engagement gets going: a short, staged onboarding that starts with a pilot and scales only once it is stable. Second, how work moves once it is live: through a defined review sequence before anything returns to your practice. The sections below cover both, then the operating detail that makes it predictable.
Five steps from first conversation to steady delivery.
Understand your practice
Your workflows, client mix, software and where capacity is tight, using anonymised information at this stage.
Select the model
Per-entity, a dedicated accountant, a pod, or custom managed delivery, with flexible capacity where it helps.
Run a controlled pilot
A small, defined portfolio or process, with scope, workflow and commercial terms agreed first.
Document the workflow
Responsibility matrix, access, turnaround, review procedures, reporting and escalation, in writing.
Scale
Once the pilot is stable, additional clients or processes move across at a pace you set.
A Chartered Accountant-supervised environment, reviewed before it reaches you.
Once an engagement is live, work moves through defined review stages before anything returns to your practice. Review responsibility is assigned according to scope, complexity and risk, so a straightforward reconciliation and a complex period-end are not treated the same way.
Maker
Prepares the work to your workflow and checklists.
Checker
Independent check of the preparation.
Senior or professional review
Review depth assigned by scope, complexity and risk.
Partner firm review
Your own final review and authorisation.
Nothing reaches your client without your firm's own partner review. We prepare and review internally; your firm authorises.

Agreed in writing, so delivery is predictable.
Before work scales, we document how the engagement runs. Nothing important is left to assumption.
- Responsibility matrix
- Who does what at each step, and where your firm's review sits.
- Access
- Role-based, individually authorised access to your systems, set up before any live data moves.
- Turnaround
- Agreed timelines per task type, including how period-end and seasonal peaks are handled.
- Reporting
- An agreed cadence of status and delivery updates, in the format your firm prefers.
- Escalation
- A named route and response expectation when something needs attention.
As the engagement settles, this document is how both sides stay aligned, and how a second person can pick up the work without loss of continuity.
Start small. Prove the model. Then scale.
The pilot is how a firm tests the model at low risk. It runs on a small controlled portfolio with a defined scope, and the terms are agreed before anything begins.

Scale if it works
The pilot is a paid engagement. Scope, workflow and commercial terms are agreed before it starts. If the pilot does not meet your standard, you have lost a small, defined piece of work, not a restructured practice.
We prepare. Your firm reviews, authorises and files.
Throughout the workflow, the boundary holds: GetAccounted Global prepares working papers, schedules, reconciliations, draft statements and tax workings. Regulated professional services, final review, authorisation and statutory filing remain with your firm or the client's authorised professional, wherever local law or professional regulation requires it.
The market-specific detail, including who performs the final filing in a given jurisdiction, is set out on the relevant market page. Singapore
The best way to understand it is to start small.
Tell us how your practice is set up and where capacity is tight. We will suggest a model and a pilot scope, and document the workflow before anything moves.
Before you write
